Which USDT networks the payment page takes, how Tron and Ethereum differ on addresses and fees, what to keep in the wallet besides the USDT, and how to avoid the one mistake that cannot be undone: sending on the wrong network.

**Quick answer — How do I pay for a VPS with USDT (TRC-20 or ERC-20)?**

**VPS With Crypto** takes USDT on two networks, Tron (TRC-20) and Ethereum (ERC-20). Top up from $25, pick the network on the payment page, and send the exact USDT amount shown on that network only. The fee is paid in the network’s own coin: TRX for Tron, ETH for Ethereum (Tron and Ethereum documentation, read 3 November 2026).

## Which USDT networks can you pay on?

**Two: Tron (TRC-20) and Ethereum (ERC-20).** Tether issues USDT on many more chains. Its supported-protocols page listed thirteen on 3 November 2026, among them Ethereum, Tron, Solana, TON, Avalanche, Aptos and NEAR. A payment page only watches the chains it names, so the token’s name is not enough: the network has to match too.

Exchanges ask which network to use when you withdraw USDT. Choose the one the payment page shows for your top-up, and nothing else.

## How do you pay for a VPS with USDT, step by step?

For USDT, choose the coin and then the network, TRC-20 or ERC-20, in step 1. Step 2 shows the matching address, and the table gives the confirmations we wait for on each network.

1. **Top up $25 or more** — Choose the amount and the coin (BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC). The crypto amount and its rate are locked for 30 minutes.
2. **Send it to the address shown, on the exact network** — The payment page shows our deposit address for the coin and network you picked: BTC on Bitcoin, USDT on Tron (TRC-20) or Ethereum (ERC-20), USDC on Ethereum (ERC-20), ETH on Ethereum, SOL on Solana, LTC on Litecoin. Send only that coin on that network: funds sent on another network or in another coin can’t be recovered. The network fee comes on top of the amount.
3. **Send the exact amount shown, then click “I’ve sent the payment”** — Each top-up has its own exact amount (down to the last decimals): that is how we find your payment and link it to your account.
4. **Credited once your payment is checked on the blockchain** — Your balance is credited once we have checked the transaction on the blockchain, after the network has confirmed it. Typical network confirmation times:
5. **Order your VPS** — Pick a plan, a rental length, a city, a system and your SSH key (or none, for a temporary root password); the top-up is set to the price of that length. Once the payment confirms, a person sets up your VPS within 24 hours and its IP address appears in your dashboard. Credit on your balance does not expire and renews any of your VPS. When a top-up is only made to reach the minimum, the unspent part comes back on request within 30 days of payment, in USDT or USDC. The rest of a balance is not paid out unless the law requires it.

| Crypto | Network | Confirmations | Usual time |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Bitcoin (BTC) | Bitcoin | 2 | ≈ 20 min |
| Tether (USDT) | Tron (TRC-20) | 20 | ≈ 1 min |
| Tether (USDT) | Ethereum (ERC-20) | 12 | ≈ 5 min |
| USD Coin (USDC) | Ethereum (ERC-20) | 12 | ≈ 5 min |
| Ethereum (ETH) | Ethereum | 12 | ≈ 5 min |
| Solana (SOL) | Solana | 1 | ≈ 1 min |
| Litecoin (LTC) | Litecoin | 6 | ≈ 15 min |

Closed the tab? The pending top-up stays under Billing in your account: open it to see the address and the exact amount again.

## TRC-20 or ERC-20: what is the difference?

**The same USDT runs on both; the address format, the coin that pays the fee and the pace of blocks are what change.** How many confirmations VPS With Crypto waits for on each, with the usual time, is in the table of the payment steps above.

### Tron and Ethereum side by side

| | Tron (TRC-20) | Ethereum (ERC-20) |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Address | 34 characters, starting with T | 42 characters: 0x followed by 40 hexadecimal characters |
| Fee paid in | TRX, as bandwidth and energy | ETH, as gas |
| Free allowance | 600 bandwidth points per activated account, refilled over 24 hours; no free energy | None |
| Block rhythm | A slot every 3 seconds; a block is irreversible after about 1 minute | A slot every 12 seconds |
| Keep in the wallet | Some TRX, or staked TRX for energy | Some ETH for gas |

Read on 3 November 2026 in the Tron developer documentation (account, resource model, consensus) and on ethereum.org (accounts, gas, blocks).

## What does a USDT transfer cost?

**The fee is paid in the network’s own coin, never in USDT, so a wallet that holds only USDT cannot send it.**

- **On Tron,** every transaction uses bandwidth, and a call to a smart contract such as the USDT token also uses energy. Energy has no free quota: you stake TRX to obtain it, or the network burns TRX from your account to cover it (Tron resource model, read 3 November 2026).
- **On Ethereum,** gas is paid in ETH. A plain ETH transfer needs 21,000 units of gas; a token transfer runs contract code and needs more (ethereum.org, read 3 November 2026).
- **On both,** the fee comes on top of the amount shown on the payment page and moves with network demand. Read the fee your wallet shows before you confirm.

On our side, nothing is added. There is no setup fee: the first order and every renewal cost the price of the rental length, nothing more.

## What happens if you pick the wrong network?

**USDT sent on a network the payment page did not show does not arrive on the network the page watches, and step 2 of the payment steps says such funds cannot be recovered.** The usual slips:

- **Picking another chain at the exchange,** such as BEP-20, Polygon or Solana, because its fee looks lower. The token is still called USDT, but it lives on a different chain.
- **Pasting an 0x address on the wrong chain.** Ethereum-style addresses are also valid on chains that copy Ethereum’s format, so a wallet may accept the transfer without a warning.
- **Sending another coin to a USDT top-up.** If you hold USDC, pick USDC on the payment page: it is one of BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC, with its own top-up.

A quick check before you confirm: a Tron address starts with T, an Ethereum address with 0x. If the address and the network you picked disagree, stop.

## What should you check when you withdraw USDT from an exchange?

**The network, the amount that arrives, and the address, in that order.**

- **Network:** TRC-20 or ERC-20, exactly as the payment page shows for your top-up.
- **Amount received:** some exchanges take their withdrawal fee out of the amount you type. Set the withdrawal so the USDT that arrives equals the figure on the payment page, down to the last decimal; that figure is how the payment is tied to your account.
- **Address:** paste it whole, then compare the first and last characters. Tron and Ethereum transfers need no memo or tag.
- **One transfer:** send the whole amount at once rather than in parts.

An exchange that verified your identity keeps that link in its own records, whatever the host asks. No KYC is not invisibility: every payment sits on a public blockchain, our billing links your account number to your orders and IP addresses, and your traffic crosses the data-centre network.

## How much USDT do you need for a VPS?

**The price of the plan for the length you pick, and never less than the $25 minimum top-up.** A month of Tera ($29.46) is above that minimum; a month of any smaller plan is below it, so part of the top-up stays on your balance after the order. The payment steps above say what becomes of that remainder, and the refund answer below covers the part added only to reach the minimum.

A 12-month term brings the monthly cost down: Byte is $26.96 for the year, or $2.25 a month. Use the length switch on the cards below to see each plan’s total.

## Pick a plan to pay in USDT

| Plan | Quantity | 30 days | 3 months | 6 months | 1 year |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Byte | 1 shared vCPU · 2 GB RAM · 40 GB NVMe | $3.21 | $8.66 (−10%) | $15.40 (−20%) | $26.96 (−30%) |
| Kilo | 2 shared vCPU · 4 GB RAM · 65 GB NVMe | $6.42 | $17.33 (−10%) | $30.81 (−20%) | $53.92 (−30%) |
| Mega | 2 shared vCPU · 6 GB RAM · 120 GB NVMe | $9.64 | $26.02 (−10%) | $46.27 (−20%) | $80.97 (−30%) |
| Giga | 4 shared vCPU · 8 GB RAM · 160 GB NVMe | $19.28 | $52.05 (−10%) | $92.54 (−20%) | $161.95 (−30%) |
| Tera | 8 shared vCPU · 24 GB RAM · 400 GB NVMe | $29.46 | $79.54 (−10%) | $141.40 (−20%) | $247.46 (−30%) |

In every plan: Root over SSH (key or temporary password) · NVMe storage · IPv4 + IPv6 · Same price in 6 cities · No KYC

## Paying for a VPS in USDT: common questions

### Is TRC-20 or ERC-20 less expensive for paying a VPS?

It depends on the day’s demand and on what your wallet holds. On Tron the fee is energy, covered by staked TRX or by burning TRX; on Ethereum it is gas, paid in ETH. Compare the fee your wallet shows on each network before choosing.

### Can I pay with USDT on BEP-20, Solana or Polygon?

No. The payment page offers USDT on Tron (TRC-20) and Ethereum (ERC-20) only, and the payment steps state that funds sent on another network cannot be recovered.

### Do I need TRX or ETH to send USDT?

Yes. A TRC-20 transfer is paid in TRX, through energy and bandwidth; an ERC-20 transfer is paid in ETH as gas. Keep a small amount of the network’s coin next to your USDT.

### Can I pay with USDC instead?

Yes. USDC is one of BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC. Pick USDC on the payment page so the address and the exact amount belong to that coin.

### Is leftover USDT refunded?

If a VPS cannot be delivered, or goes down and support cannot bring it back, the lost days are credited back to your balance, which never expires. Top-ups are not paid out unless a law requires it, with one exception: the part added only to reach the minimum top-up is returned in USDT or USDC if you ask within 30 days and it is still unspent.

### How soon is the VPS ready after a USDT payment?

A person builds it after the network confirmations shown in the payment table are reached and the payment is checked. Timing: Within 24 hours of the confirmed payment, at the latest. The IP address then appears in your dashboard.
