Which Amsterdam VPS providers accept crypto without ID?

Amsterdam has more no-ID crypto hosts than any other city in the survey, and it set the price of our two largest plans. Who sold a comparable plan there on 3 November 2026, which of them can still ask for a document, and what counts as Amsterdam at all.

Quick answer

Which Amsterdam VPS providers accept crypto without ID?

On 3 November 2026, 22 hosts that take crypto and ask no ID at signup sold a comparable Amsterdam VPS, the most of the six cities surveyed. Eleven of them keep a written right to ask for a document later, for example before a refund, for a card payment or after an abuse report. VPS With Crypto sells Amsterdam VPS from $2.25 a month on a 12-month term, paid in crypto with no ID document.

Which Amsterdam hosts ask no ID, and when do they ask anyway?

None of the 22 asks for a document at signup; eleven of them name in writing a case where they might. The second column is the survey's reading of each host's terms and help pages on 3 November 2026: "conditional" when a document can be asked in a stated case, "no" otherwise, even where the host keeps a general right to check what you tell it. One stands out: Zomro lists paying by cryptocurrency itself among the cases where it may ask for identity documents.

Which of our prices did Amsterdam set?

Giga and Tera: at those sizes, no city had a qualifying plan below Amsterdam's. VSYS Host's VS-NVME4-8 undercut InterServer's 7-slice plan, the first price in the three US cities, and AliasVPS's VPS Pro beat InterServer's 15-slice plan by more. On a 12-month term, Giga costs 25% and Tera 25% less than these references, with at least the same vCPU, RAM and disk. Byte, Kilo and Mega follow Los Angeles plans instead, such as InterServer's Linux Cloud VPS 3 slices at $9.00. The first table shows the two Amsterdam references; the second, the whole Amsterdam field.

What counts as an Amsterdam VPS?

Amsterdam and its airport side, not "the Netherlands" in general. The survey counted Amsterdam itself, Schiphol and Oude Meer, and Haarlem. It did not count Dronten, Doetinchem, Eygelshoven, Meppel or Delft, all of which appear on Dutch VPS pages. Servury's Netherlands page places its servers in Eygelshoven, "in the south", so its Dutch plans were left out; NiceVPS writes only "Netherlands" and gets no row at all.

Prices can also move with the city inside one host. Ultahost's VPS Basic cost $8.89 a month in Amsterdam against $6.89 in its five other survey cities. At VPS With Crypto, Your VPS runs in a data centre in the city you pick, on IP addresses registered in that country (US, GB, NL or DE in the registry whois).

Which Dutch rules look at a server in Amsterdam?

The Dutch implementation act of the GDPR looks at the organisation, not the rack. Article 4 of the Uitvoeringswet Algemene verordening gegevensbescherming (UAVG) applies it to processing "in het kader van activiteiten van een vestiging" (in the context of the activities of an establishment) of a controller or processor in the Netherlands, and to organisations outside the EU that offer goods or services to people in the Netherlands or monitor their behaviour there. On the text of Article 4, what brings an organisation under the act is where it is established and whom it serves, not the address of its server alone.

The EU regulation's own scope works the same way, as the Europe page explains. Texts read on wetten.overheid.nl and the EU Publications Office on 3 November 2026. Not legal advice.

What about Vultr, DigitalOcean, Linode, OVHcloud and Hetzner in Amsterdam?

Four of the five sell in Amsterdam; none of them is a no-ID crypto option. On 3 November 2026, the smallest 1 GB plan cost $5.00 at Vultr and Akamai (Linode) and $6.00 at DigitalOcean (AMS3). OVHcloud's Amsterdam offer is a Local Zone with two plans, VPS-1 at €5.49 (about $6.16) and VPS-2 at €8.49 (about $9.52). Hetzner has no site in the Netherlands.

Cherry Servers, which lists a Cloud VPS from €3, sits outside this comparison: its terms (section 3.3) ask crypto payers to pass an identity check or top up at least €100 before ordering its lowest-priced servers.

Amsterdam VPS: short answers

Is AliasVPS less expensive than Tera?

Month to month, slightly: VPS Pro was $27.50 on 3 November 2026 and Tera is $29.46. On a 12-month term Tera is $20.62 a month, with the same 8 vCPU, 24 GB and 400 GB.

Can I pay for an Amsterdam VPS with Solana or Litecoin?

Yes. VPS With Crypto takes BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC, from a $25 top-up.

Is an Amsterdam VPS good for a Nextcloud server?

For users in the Netherlands and Belgium it is the nearest of our cities by distance. The Nextcloud guide covers the install; plan disk space with the fact that no plan includes backups.

Will my IP address show as Dutch?

Geolocation databases and websites decide for themselves where a data-centre IP address is; we make no promise about how they label yours.

Which Linux systems can I install?

Debian 13, Debian 12, Ubuntu 24.04 LTS, Ubuntu 22.04 LTS, AlmaLinux 10, Rocky Linux 10. Every VPS runs Linux, installed from our Debian, Ubuntu, AlmaLinux or Rocky Linux images; Windows is not sold.
