Quick answer

Which Los Angeles VPS hosts take Bitcoin or USDT?

On 3 November 2026, 18 hosts sold a comparable Los Angeles VPS for crypto with no ID at signup; fourteen named Bitcoin on their own pages and eleven named USDT. The least expensive small plan was InterServer's at $3.00 a month. VPS With Crypto takes both coins and sells Los Angeles VPS from $2.25 a month on a 12-month term.

Which Los Angeles hosts take Bitcoin, and which take USDT?

Most take both, but not all of them, and four name no coin at all. GreenCloudVPS lists Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash and Ethereum, without USDT. HostSailor takes Bitcoin and "50+ other altcoins" through CoinGate without naming Tether, and Advin Servers writes Bitcoin "or another supported coin". HostDare writes only "cryptocurrencies", while VirMach, InterServer and HostHatch name a processor (Coinbase twice, BitPay once) and no coin. Each row below is the host's least expensive Los Angeles plan of at least 1 vCPU / 1 GB / 20 GB that met every survey rule: crypto accepted, no ID at signup, IPv4 included, month to month, in stock, KVM, and 1 TB a month or more on a port of at least 100 Mbps.

Month-to-month US dollar prices, except the first row. "Unmetered" is how the host describes the traffic; most of those plans give no port speed in the order form. Median of the eighteen other hosts: $8.00.

How did three Los Angeles plans set the price of Byte, Kilo and Mega?

On a 12-month term, Byte, Kilo and Mega each cost 25% less than a named plan sold in Los Angeles: two from InterServer and one from Advin Servers. The rule picks, for each plan, the comparable offer with the smallest monthly price in any of the six cities; from Kilo up, that offer needs at least 1 GB more RAM than our plan below (3 GB for Kilo, 5 GB for Mega), so InterServer's 2 GB slice sets the price of Byte only. At Kilo size, two InterServer slices tied Advin's KVM Premium 1 at $6.00.

Each of our plans has at least the vCPU, RAM, disk and traffic of its reference, on NVMe where InterServer lists SSD. Month to month, Byte, Kilo and Mega cost $3.21, $6.42 and $9.64, a little above their references; any longer term takes them under. The VPS price index gives the full rule and every host that did not qualify.

What else did the Los Angeles survey turn up?

Some apparent bargains did not qualify, and two hosts had stock in no other city.

  • HostDare sells only in Los Angeles among the six cities. Its SSD3 ($13.99) has 4 GB, 1 GB short of Mega's comparison size; its SSD4 (4 vCPU, 8 GB, 200 GB NVMe, 5 TB) at $25.99 came second at 4 vCPU / 8 GB / 160 GB, behind InterServer's seven slices at $21.00.
  • Advin Servers had plans in stock only in Los Angeles; its Secaucus line near New York showed sold out. Its KVM Extreme 1 (2 vCPU, 4 GB, 128 GB NVMe, 2 TB) at $8.00 was the least expensive Los Angeles plan at the survey's own 2 vCPU / 4 GB / 80 GB tier, but with 4 GB it falls under Mega's 5 GB minimum.
  • ExtraVM runs its Los Angeles plans in Burbank, inside Los Angeles County; the survey counted Burbank, El Segundo and downtown as Los Angeles.
  • SurferCloud lists small plans from $4.00, but every one comes with a 30 Mbps port and 200 GB to 4 TB traffic packages, under the 100 Mbps minimum.
  • Cloudzy answered "Selected plan currently unavailable in this region" for Los Angeles, and AlphaVPS marked its Los Angeles plans out of stock.
  • At the largest size, 8 vCPU / 16 GB / 320 GB, only 7 hosts qualified, with a median of $88.00 a month.

What do Vultr, Linode and OVHcloud charge in Los Angeles?

Vultr and Akamai (Linode) both start at $5.00 a month for 1 vCPU and 1 GB in Los Angeles; DigitalOcean and Hetzner have no region there. On 3 November 2026 Vultr charged $20.00 for 2 vCPU, 4 GB and 80 GB with 3.07 TB of traffic, and Linode $24.00 with 4 TB. OVHcloud's Los Angeles Local Zone sold VPS-1 (2 vCPU, 4 GB, 40 GB, unmetered at 500 Mbps) for $6.54 and VPS-2 (4 vCPU, 8 GB, 75 GB) for $10.00, neither with the 80 GB disk of the next size up. Hetzner's West Coast site is Hillsboro, Oregon, outside the six cities.

Of these, only Vultr takes crypto, through BitPay, and it still sends new accounts to add a payment method "for verification purposes". Linode verifies a phone number by SMS and a card or PayPal at signup. The alternatives to Vultr, DigitalOcean and Linode page compares them in full.

Who is a Los Angeles server for?

Users on the US West Coast, and projects that look across the Pacific. By distance, Los Angeles is the nearest of our six cities to Tokyo, Seoul and Sydney, and the nearest to Vancouver and Seattle. Common uses: a website or API for a California audience, a WireGuard endpoint for your own laptop and phone on the West Coast, a build server for a team in Pacific time.

Your VPS runs in a data centre in the city you pick, on IP addresses registered in that country (US, GB, NL or DE in the registry whois). Geolocation databases and websites decide for themselves where a data-centre IP address is; we make no promise about how they label yours.

Los Angeles VPS: short answers

Which USDT network should I use?

Either Tron (TRC-20) or Ethereum (ERC-20); pick one at checkout and send on that network only. The full coin list is BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC, and paying with USDT compares the two networks.

Are the reference plans less expensive month to month?

Yes, by a little: Byte is $3.21 month to month against $3.00 for InterServer's Linux Cloud VPS 1 slice, and Kilo and Mega sit just as near their references. From the 3-month term on, all three cost less a month than the plan they are measured against. On 12 months Byte comes to $2.25 a month, on NVMe instead of SSD.

Is Los Angeles a good choice for users in Asia?

It is the nearest of our six cities to East Asia and Oceania, but it is still across an ocean. For an audience mostly in Asia, a server in Asia would be closer than any city we offer.

What happens when the paid period ends?

You pay for a VPS ahead of time from your crypto balance, for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months, chosen at checkout. With auto-renew on, the same length is charged again at the price written on your order, and you can switch the next renewal to another length from the dashboard. If the balance cannot cover a renewal, the VPS stops when its paid time runs out and its disk is kept for 7 days before it is wiped.

Can I reinstall the system myself?

Reboot, reinstall and delete are requests you send from the dashboard, carried out by a person. A reinstall erases the disk. No plan includes backups, so keep your own copy of anything that matters.
