How do I order a VPS with crypto, from payment to SSH?

The whole path, from an account number and a crypto top-up to a root shell in one of six cities. Then what the dashboard does, what happens at renewal, what we keep about you, and which rules the company applies.

Quick answer

How do I order a VPS with crypto, from payment to SSH?

At VPS With Crypto you top up a balance in crypto (at least $25), order a plan for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months in one of six US and European cities, and a person sets up the VPS within 24 hours of the confirmed payment. You then log in as root over SSH. On 3 November 2026 the smallest plan cost $2.25 a month on a 12-month term.

How is an account opened?

There is no form to fill in. You sign in with an account number alone; adding an email is up to you. Your account number is created when you first order, and you are asked to confirm you have saved it. No step asks for a name, a postal address or a phone number.

Your account number is the only key to the account. With an email on file you can get it back; without one, a lost number cannot be recovered. Store the number in a password manager, not in your email drafts.

Nobody from our team will ever ask for your account number, your root password or your private SSH key, by email or in a chat.

How does the crypto payment work?

You pay into a prepaid balance in US dollars, then the order is taken from it. When you start from a plan, the top-up is set to what your balance lacks for that order, never less than $25. Coin-by-coin walk-throughs: Bitcoin and USDT on TRC-20 or ERC-20.

  1. Top up $25 or more

Choose the amount and the coin (BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC). The crypto amount and its rate are locked for 30 minutes.

  2. Send it to the address shown, on the exact network

The payment page shows our deposit address for the coin and network you picked: BTC on Bitcoin, USDT on Tron (TRC-20) or Ethereum (ERC-20), USDC on Ethereum (ERC-20), ETH on Ethereum, SOL on Solana, LTC on Litecoin. Send only that coin on that network: funds sent on another network or in another coin can’t be recovered. The network fee comes on top of the amount.

  3. Send the exact amount shown, then click “I’ve sent the payment”

Each top-up has its own exact amount (down to the last decimals): that is how we find your payment and link it to your account.

  4. Credited once your payment is checked on the blockchain

Your balance is credited once we have checked the transaction on the blockchain, after the network has confirmed it. Typical network confirmation times:

    CryptoNetworkConfirmationsUsual time
    BTCBitcoin2≈ 20 min
    USDTTron (TRC-20)20≈ 1 min
    USDTEthereum (ERC-20)12≈ 5 min
    USDCEthereum (ERC-20)12≈ 5 min
    ETHEthereum12≈ 5 min
    SOLSolana1≈ 1 min
    LTCLitecoin6≈ 15 min
  5. Order your VPS

Pick a plan, a rental length, a city, a system and your SSH key (or none, for a temporary root password); the top-up is set to the price of that length. Once the payment confirms, a person sets up your VPS within 24 hours and its IP address appears in your dashboard. Credit on your balance does not expire and renews any of your VPS. When a top-up is only made to reach the minimum, the unspent part comes back on request within 30 days of payment, in USDT or USDC. The rest of a balance is not paid out unless the law requires it.

Closed the tab? The pending top-up stays under Billing in your account: open it to see the address and the exact amount again.

What do I choose at checkout?

Five choices, in this order: plan, rental length, city, system and SSH key. An optional name for the VPS comes last.

  • Plan: Byte, Kilo, Mega, Giga or Tera. Sizes and prices are on the pricing page.
  • Length: Rent a VPS for 1 month, 3 months (10% off), 6 months (20% off) or 12 months (30% off). A longer length costs the monthly price times 3, 6 or 12, less its discount, rounded down to the cent: Tera is $79.54 for 3 months, $141.40 for 6 months and $247.46 for 12 months. A renewal repeats the same length at the price of your order, unless you choose another length for the next renewal in the dashboard.
  • City: New York, Dallas and Los Angeles in the United States; London, Amsterdam and Frankfurt in Europe: every plan in every city, at one price. Your VPS runs in a data centre in the city you pick, on IP addresses registered in that country (US, GB, NL or DE in the registry whois).
  • System: Debian 13, Debian 12, Ubuntu 24.04 LTS, Ubuntu 22.04 LTS, AlmaLinux 10, Rocky Linux 10. Every VPS runs Linux, installed from our Debian, Ubuntu, AlmaLinux or Rocky Linux images; Windows is not sold.
  • SSH key: optional, see below.

Pick the city by who will connect to the server: a site for American visitors in a US city, a service for European users in London, Amsterdam or Frankfurt. The country also decides which law the data centre itself is under. Geolocation databases and websites decide for themselves where a data-centre IP address is; we make no promise about how they label yours. The USA and Europe pages compare the cities.

Who sets up the VPS, and when is it ready?

A person on the team, not a script. A team member sets up every VPS by hand after your payment confirms, within 24 hours; your dashboard follows the build and then shows the IP address.

The paid time of a VPS starts when it is ready, not when you send the coins. If a VPS cannot be delivered, its days go back to your balance: the refund policy covers that case. We do not offer instant setup, and we would rather say so here than in a support ticket.

Is an SSH key required?

Not required, though a key is the better way to log in. You log in as root over SSH. Add a public key at checkout and password login stays disabled; skip it and the team sets a temporary root password, shown in your dashboard, that you change with passwd the first time you log in.

With a key, connect from the machine that holds the private half. Without one, read the temporary password in your dashboard, log in, and change it before anything else. Then add your key and switch password login off. Nobody at VPS With Crypto needs your private key, ever.

From your own computer, then on the VPS
# on your computer: make a key pair once (skip if you have one)
ssh-keygen -t ed25519

# log in (203.0.113.24 stands for the IP shown in your dashboard)
ssh [email protected]

# no key at checkout? change the temporary password first
passwd

# back on your computer: copy your public key to the VPS
ssh-copy-id [email protected]

Turning password login off, firewall rules and updates are the next steps; the guides first ten minutes on a Linux VPS and SSH keys and server security walk through them on each system.

What does the dashboard let me do?

Reboot, reinstall and delete are requests you send from the dashboard, carried out by a person. A reinstall erases the disk. Each one shows as requested until a team member has carried it out.

The dashboard also lists, for each VPS, its IP addresses, city, system, rental length, next renewal date and renewal price. You can switch the length of the next renewal there. The vCPU of every plan are shared: they are scheduled on physical cores that neighbouring VPS also use. The RAM and NVMe space of your plan are reserved for your VPS only.

What happens at the end of a rental?

You pay for a VPS ahead of time from your crypto balance, for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months, chosen at checkout. With auto-renew on, the same length is charged again at the price written on your order, and you can switch the next renewal to another length from the dashboard. If the balance cannot cover a renewal, the VPS stops when its paid time runs out and its disk is kept for 7 days before it is wiped.

Credit on your balance does not expire and renews any of your VPS. When a top-up is only made to reach the minimum, the unspent part comes back on request within 30 days of payment, in USDT or USDC. The rest of a balance is not paid out unless the law requires it. In practice: keep enough on the balance before the renewal date, or renew early from the dashboard. A disk that has been wiped cannot be brought back by anyone.

What does VPS With Crypto keep about me?

What billing and running the server need, and nothing for marketing. What billing and running a VPS need is kept: your account number, plus an email if you added one; every top-up and order (amount, coin, network, transaction ID, date); and for each VPS its name, plan, rental length, city, system, SSH public key, IP addresses and dates, with the temporary root password when you gave no key, which stops working once you change it. A referral code is kept only if the link you came through carried one. The data-centre network gear is not ours. Records are handed over only on the order of a Panamanian court.

No KYC is not invisibility: every payment sits on a public blockchain, our billing links your account number to your orders and IP addresses, and your traffic crosses the data-centre network. The privacy policy lists each record, why it exists and how long it stays, and what your VPS host can see explains the same question for any provider.

Which rules and which law apply?

This is company policy. It is applied as written, and it is no reason to choose us on its own: plenty of things stay forbidden.

  • Law: VPS With Crypto is run by DomaineGoat LLC, a company incorporated in Panama, which answers to Panamanian law only. Each data centre is subject to the law of its own country: the United States, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands or Germany.
  • Copyright claims: DMCA notices and other foreign copyright claims are not acted on: we are bound only by Panamanian law and by orders of Panamanian courts.
  • Logs: Connections, traffic and the IP addresses of visitors and customers are not logged: not on the website, not in the dashboard and not on the VPS.
  • Tor relays: Any VPS may run a Tor relay: an exit relay, a middle relay or a bridge.
  • Abuse: a VPS used for anything on the forbidden list is suspended, and reports go to [email protected].

Forbidden: spam and bulk mail, phishing, malware or botnet control servers, DDoS and other attacks, scanning or brute-forcing systems you do not own, booter and stresser services, carding and other fraud, child sexual abuse material, cryptocurrency mining, and serving sanctioned people or companies. The acceptable use policy draws the lines in detail. The terms of service are the contract.

What does VPS With Crypto not do?

  • Instant setup: a person sets up every VPS. Within 24 hours of the confirmed payment, at the latest.
  • Backups: No plan includes backups, so keep your own copy of anything that matters.
  • Outgoing port 25: Outbound port 25 is closed on every VPS and is not opened on request; send mail through a mail provider on port 465 or 587.
  • DDoS protection: We promise no DDoS protection beyond the default filtering of the data-centre network.
  • Windows: Every VPS runs Linux, installed from our Debian, Ubuntu, AlmaLinux or Rocky Linux images; Windows is not sold.
  • Trial: There is no free trial: the smallest plan, Byte, is $3.21 for one month, or $2.25 a month on a 12-month term.
  • Uptime percentage: we publish none. If a VPS stops and support cannot bring it back, the lost days are credited to your balance.

Questions about the order process

How soon after paying is my VPS ready?

Not instantly. A team member sets up every VPS by hand after your payment confirms, within 24 hours; your dashboard follows the build and then shows the IP address.

Is an email address required?

Yes. You sign in with an account number alone; adding an email is up to you. Your account number is the only key to the account. With an email on file you can get it back; without one, a lost number cannot be recovered.

I lost my private SSH key. What now?

If you still have a session open, add a new public key to ~/.ssh/authorized_keys. If not, request a reinstall from the dashboard with a new public key. A reinstall wipes the disk, so it is the last resort.

Can I move from monthly to yearly billing?

Yes, from the next renewal. Change the length in the dashboard; the next renewal is charged at that length's price, for example $53.92 for a year of Kilo.
